A NOTE from PETER
The lyrics of 'Father Mother God' parallel and reflect the words of The Lord's Prayer. In addressing God as Father and Mother I was encouraged by the following quote from Pope John Paul I. (Angelus. Sunday 10th September 1978):

The Jewish people once passed difficult moments and addressed the Lord complaining and saying: "You have forsaken us, you have forgotten us!" "No!" He replied through Isaiah the Prophet—"can a mother forget her own child?.... We are the objects of undying love on the part of God... He is our father; even more he is our mother. [End of quote]

The melody was formed by voice and heart. Later I found chords for the guitar.
