NOTE: 'Lead Me to Hope' is a simple, hymn-song praying for hope, love, faith and peace. For congregational singing, verses 1, 2, 3 could be sung as "Lead us to ..." instead of "Lead me to ... " Verse 4 is already "Lead us to ...",

This could be a suitable song/ hymn for Advent, as the verse-prayers match three of the four candles on the Advent wreath - candles symbolising hope, love, joy and peace.

On the recording we sing "Lead me t' hope. / Lead me t' love" etc. Nowadays I much prefer to have these lines sung as "Lead me TO love"... etc.

This song/ hymn was originally the last of ten tracks on my 'Signs of Hope'. album. All ten tracks are now included on my double-CD compilation 'Make Me a Song (The Best of 25 Years)'. See links below.
