I wrote 'The Love Light' for the wedding of our son Jason and his wife Ellen. I wrote it in such a way that it could be easily learned and sung by gathered family and friends. We sang the song after the ceremony, as we stood in a circle around the couple in a backyard celebration at Ellen's parents' home. I have since sung the song at a couple of other family weddings.

It's a short and simple piece, celebrating the light of love that shines in the darkness: “And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.” (Saint Paul)
