1. Every creed, every class to the feast he would ask
And some were surprised to find the company of an enemy.
Ah but Jesus laughed: "have a drink on me!" CHORUS.

2. There was Pete, they called him 'Rock'
You could see he was shocked
When the tax collector came knocking upon the door.
They were very poor.
Ah but Jesus laughed, sent them down to the lake.

3. Or Zaccheus- he was short, couldn't see what he sought
