NOTES on 'All Aboard the Ark':
L'Arche is an international private voluntary organization that works for the creation and growth of homes, programs, and support networks with people who have intellectual disabilities.
L'Arche is French for 'The Ark' and this is a song I wrote for the Australian L 'Arche Communities, whose members have often attended my concerts. They adopted the song and sing the chorus with great gusto.
Today there are over 160 L’Arche communities in 37 countries on 5 continents. There are several communities in Australia.
Faith & Light, a support network for people with intellectual disabilities and their families, is also connected with L'Arche.
